The Consultation
Before the treatment, you will undergo an initial consultation with one of our practitioners, who will enquire about your medical history and examine your skin. If you have any allergic reactions, we encourage you to share this information. You will need to have a patch test at least 48 hours prior to your first treatment.
Before Treatment
We strongly recommend that you avoid any exfoliating agents in the 48 hours leading up to your appointment. For a week prior, steer clear of AHAs, BHAs, retinols, and self-tanning products. Also, please refrain from waxing, or hair bleaching for a week before your session, and protect your skin by avoiding UV or sun exposure during the same period. These precautions ensure optimal results and a smooth, effective experience and fast recovery.
During Treatment
Your face will be thoroughly cleansed, and an optional numbing cream will be applied to avoid any discomfort during the treatment. Then, our experienced practitioner will deliver radio frequency waves to the targeted area using a Venus Viva applicator which consists of tiny pins that safely deliver the heat through skin’s surface. While undergoing treatment, you may experience mild discomfort but no sensation of pain. Some redness in the treated area may occur following the procedure, but this typically resolves within 24 hours.
After Treatment
Right after treatment no creams or makeup should be applied. Skin should be left to rest for 24 hours following the treatment. After which a special healing cream may be applied to promote quick recovery. Please avoid AHAs, BHAs, and retinol for first two weeks. Please refrain from swimming, steam saunas, sunbeds, and tanning for around 10 days following the treatment. Keep your skin hydrated with a gentle moisturiser and ensure long-term protection by consistently applying high broad-spectrum SPF cream to shield against sun damage.
