Points to note when choosing your Injector .

Points to note when choosing your Injector .

There are real risks associated with treatment by unskilled and unqualified providers. This not only risks patient safety but can also result in unnatural or overdone results. It is not good to see people with clearly bad results that shouldn’t be the norm with cosmetic treatments. Using advanced techniques and high-quality products, our Doctors aim to provide results that are beautifully integrated with your natural features.

When choosing a BOTOX® injector, you should give the decision the same level of consideration and scrutiny as any medical procedure. Here are five tips to help you choose a BOTOX® injector or dermal filler injector that can safely achieve natural results you’ll love:

  • Always choose a highly qualified, experienced professional medical trained Doctor, with a lot of training and experience in aesthetic medicine.
  • Only receive your injections in reputable places by highly trained individuals
  • Read patient reviews. See what others say of their experience. Note that some people purchase positive reviews.
  • Check out before and after photos and make sure they are theirs and not some brochure with other results that are unlikely to be achieved by them.

Untrained providers may not be knowledgeable about the anatomy of the face, including facial muscles, nerves and blood vessels. If an unskilled provider performs aesthetic injections, you could see uneven or unnatural results or worse, serious side effects and complications like facial drooping, occlusion of a blood vessel, or damage to facial nerves. Poorly administered infections can cause necrosis. As the number of patients using dermal filler for face augmentation increases, the number of adverse events associated with injection may increase. Unpredictable repositioning of blood vessels and a more tenuous blood supply in the operated nose may increase the risk of ischemia, necrosis, and vascular embolism following the filler injection

Only receive your injections in reputable places by highly trained doctors .

With unlicensed BOTOX® injectors, there’s also a risk of counterfeit or expired products being used, which can cause severe complications including botulism poisoning or infection. Expired or counterfeit Botox is incredibly frightening as the risk associated is high.

Additionally, low-cost providers may dilute the product or use insufficient amounts, potentially leading to unsatisfactory results and other more serious issues.

For this reason, among others, never receive injectable treatments at BOTOX® parties in someone’s home or from an aesthetician. If you can’t verify where the injectable product originated from, don’t use it. If you have any doubt about the authenticity of injectables like BOTOX®, don’t hesitate to ask to see the bottle. A vial of BOTOX® should come with a tamper-evident seal and will have a holographic “Allergan” logo on the bottle. But, at the end of the day, dishonest injectors can and will use bad or expired product to save money.  If the euro per unit is all that a clinic or individual focuses on, there are sadly too many ways to cut corners.  Using fake, diluted or expired product is one way these individuals do just that.

Never allow a beauty therapist or similar inject you with product as they do not have the expertise or knowledge to do the treatment or deal  with any issues that can arise after the procedure.

Check the qualifications of your injector.
